Government of the Punjab / KPK offers simple online vehicle verification for all Cars/ Motorbikes with computerized registration plates. Through this system you are able to verify the details of the vehicle before purchasing. If you have recently purchased a vehicle or you are planning to buy one, verify it online first.
In order to verify your vehicle visit official Vehicle Verification Website, now enter the registration number of the desired vehicle and you will get all the information e.g. make, model, color, type, chassis number and name of the owner.
Remember not to get tricked into buying a stolen, tampered or non-custom paid vehicle otherwise you might end up in the Jail.
Stolen Vehicle Identification System
Any person from anywhere within Pakistan may send Chassis No. of the vehicle to 8521 and you will shortly get details on your mobile phone. This is called Stolen Vehicles Identification System (SVIS). This system is designed to locate lost car and to discourage resale of stolen car.
Correct procedure of sending message and receiving information is below:
- Send Chassis No. in the form CNO ABCXXXXX to 8521
- You will receive information in following format with status:
- When was the vehicle stolen
- When was the vehicle recovered
